PCPNDT Overview
The main objective of the PCPNDT Software was to collectively identify and find ways of overcoming the challenges emerging in the implementation of the amended PCPNDT Act. The major output of the web application has been a set of recommendations to improve the situation, The PNDT Act provides for regulation of genetic counseling centers, genetic laboratories and genetic clinics and also regulates pre-natal diagnostic procedures. The medical professional running the genetic centre has to be registered under the PNDT.
